This little brush is the size of a fountain pen. It has its own reservoir of water in the handle which makes it ideal for working out of doors. The nylon filaments are tough and come to a long tapering point  

Use with watersoluble graphite pencil, such as Caran D'Ache Technalo Watersoluble Graphite, either to wash over your drawing to to create wet in wet drawings for skies, hillsides, trees etc.

Or with a small selection of watercolour pencils for creating colour sketches on location without the need for carrying a lot of equipment.

The brush is self cleaning which means you can change colour and tone easily. Just squeeze gently and brush away excess colour on a scrap of pap

 Used with a small set of watercolours you can add colour to pencil sketches without the need for a lot of equipment, expensive brushes or jars of water, and the water in the handle stays clean, unlike the jar of water.

You can work in watercolour on a bus or train, in an aeroplane, or in your car without the fear of spilling water.
