This
Painting holiday to Egypt in November 2003 was conceived
as a leisurely
trip with no strenuous activity and plenty of luxury. Well there
was plenty of luxury but in no way could it be described
as leisurely. We
were up before dawn almost every day to catch the beautiful sunrises.
We filled every day with sketching, sightseeing, camel
trekking, felucca
sailing, you name it. We finished the holiday by climbing Mount
Sinai in the dark followed by canyoning in a narrow
gorge!
Everyone survived and said they had had a wonderful time.
