Seventy Degrees North
This film follows David Bellamy and his friend Torben Sorensen on their expedition to Scoresbysund, East Greenland in the spring of 2006. Bouncing across mountain passes and frozen sea on dog sleds whilst trying to sketch and paint, and living in remote huts in very primitive conditions at temperatures well below freezing was a unique experience. Even though he was filming and taking a great many photographs, David returned with one of the best collections of expedition sketchbooks he has ever done

Although this is not an instructional film, it does show David's methods of working, gives an insight into his motivation and inspiration and shows a number of sketches and paintings from the trip.

'Dvd arrived safely today. Very informative as usual.Exellent locations and of course David's usual madcap self,. For me it was as if we were all back together again on an adventure.I now think of David as Wales very own Indiana Jones'. Carol Eldridge

'Our dogs thought it was fabulous. Especially the Hound Dog Polka, which they sang along with and have been whistling ever since'. Regards Dennis & Lynne
